Music in the Vale would not be able to organise their competitions nor offer other performance opportunities for our young musicians without the generosity of their sponsors.
We are extremely grateful to the Vale of Glamorgan Council for their continuing support. This year we have also been awarded donations by Penarth Town Council, Cowbridge with Llanblethian Town Council, Barry Town Council and Bridgend County Borough Council.
In 2008 we were fortunate in receiving a Grant from the Arts Council of Wales to increase the awareness of the competition. We have been able to create some display material and leaflets as part of our Marketing Strategy.
We are also very grateful to other people and organisations who support us in other ways. These include Jane Hutt AM with an annual reception and performance opportunity at the Senedd. Cardiff University, The Friary Cardiff and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with advertising opportunities. The Millennium Centre have also offered performance opportunities for the coming months.
