Welcome to Music in the Vale's Annual Competition
We encourage excellence and enjoyment in the performance of vocal and instrumental music among young people and provide a supportive, friendly environment where young people can gain their first pleasurable experience of musical competition.
Our competition is open to young people resident in the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas and this year the singers will compete on Saturday 24th Nov and the instrumentalists on Sunday 25th Nov.
Cash prizes are awarded to each of the finalists at the end of the Gala Concert each night, and all competitors receive written feedback from experienced adjudicators.

Music in the Vale is a Charitable Organisation. Site created by Phil Bowers in accordance with a design concept by Elevator Design.
WELCOME
Singers aged 8-24 and instrumentalists aged 8-21 (both on 1st Sept 2012) are judged on separate days. There is no minimum grade restriction on the entrants; everybody is welcome to compete.
The whole competition is open to the public.
